Ingredients

  • 180 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 orange (s), including the grated peel
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 200 g flour, handy
  • 125 g corn starch
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 can mandarin (s) (90 g weight)
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter with the sugar, the salt, the orange peel and the whole eggs one after the other until very frothy. Sift flour, cornstarch and baking powder and stir in. Fold in the drained mandarins.
  2. Pour the dough into a greased and floured Gugelhupf pan with a diameter of 24 cm and bake in the middle rack at 150-160 ° C for approx. 50 minutes.
  3. Serve sprinkled with icing sugar.
