Mango Chutney

As you know, chutney is a widespread dish in the south of Asia. It is a traditional condiment that is usually made from fruits such as mangoes. I share the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Mango – 2 Pieces
  • Vegetable oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Chili Pepper – 2 Pieces
  • Spices – 3 Pinches (cumin, mustard seeds, peppercorns, salt, sugar, coriander, paprika)
  • Lemon Juice – 2 Teaspoons

Directions

  1. Peel the mango.
  2. The mango pulp needs to be kneaded with a spoon until puree.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet, fry the peppers and spices in it for 1-2 minutes over high heat.
  4. Now add lemon juice and mix.
  5. Add the mango immediately and reduce the heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, cool – and you’re done! Keep refrigerated.
