Instructions

  1. Peel and core a mango and cut into pieces. Grind together with the quark, the juice of the lime, the vanilla sugar, the saffron and the honey with a hand blender and mix.
  2. Chill for at least an hour.
  3. In the meantime, peel and core the second mango and cut into even cubes and whip the cream until stiff.
  4. After the resting time, fold the cream into the quark mixture and finally fold in the mango cubes.
  5. Either serve immediately or keep in the refrigerator until serving.
  6. ADDITIONAL ADDITION: The recipe as such is certainly not low in calories, but at this point everyone is free to replace the 40% quark for example with low-fat quark or to swap the cream for e.g. Cremefine. In any case, this saves a few calories.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
