“Marble” Chicken Roll

by Editorial Staff

“Marble” chicken roll is a very appetizing alternative to store-bought sausage and is not difficult to prepare. Chicken meat is marinated with your favorite spices and then baked in a foil in the oven. The most difficult thing in this recipe, perhaps, will be to wait until the roll “reaches” in the refrigerator. But there is a certainty that the wait will not stop you on the way to a delicious snack!

Cook: 8 hours 40 mins

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 450 g
  • Chicken legs – 600 g
  • Gelatin – 22 g
  • Seasoning for poultry – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Granular garlic – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground turmeric – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients. Wash and dry poultry meat.
  2. Free the chicken legs from bones and skins, cut the fillets into small pieces. Also cut the chicken fillet into small cubes.
  3. Put pieces of chicken meat in a deep bowl, add salt, all spices and herbs (ground pepper, turmeric, granulated garlic, poultry seasoning).
  4. Add gelatin to a bowl.
  5. Mix the chicken meat well and marinate for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  6. Place the chicken on a cling film in the form of a roll.
  7. Wrap the roll tightly with cling film in 5-7 layers (without gaps) so that the film does not break.
  8. Put the roll in a deep shape (I have a shape of 30×20 cm). Fill the mold 2/3 with water and send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes, to the lower level.
  9. Remove the finished chicken roll from the mold and cool at room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 7 hours.Cut the “marble” chicken roll and serve with any side dish, vegetables or bread.
         Bon Appetit!
