Ingredients

  • 3 bags green tea or 1 tablespoon loose tea
  • 2 lime (s), organic
  • 3 tablespoon syrup, (lemon syrup)
  • 300 ml vermouth, (Martini Bianco), cold
  • 3 sprigs mint, fresh
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Bring about 1/2 liter of water to the boil and let it cool down for 1 minute. Pour the tea and let it steep for 2-3 minutes, depending on your taste. Strain, let cool and chill.
  2. Rinse limes with hot and pat dry. Squeeze one lime, cut the other into thin slices.
  3. Put the martini, tea, lime juice and lemon syrup in a container, stir carefully and season to taste. Divide the ice cubes between 6-8 glasses, add 2-3 mint leaves and 1 lime slice each. Spread the tea-martini mix over it.

  5. If you want the drink a little sweeter, you can dissolve some white rock sugar in the tea while it is still hot.
  6. The mint leaves develop a special aroma if you rub them briefly between your fingertips.
