Ingredients

  • 150 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 80 g powdered suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 Table spoons milk
  • 125 g butter
  • 150 g almond (s), round peeled
  • 200 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 2 tablespoon jelly (cherry jelly)
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pistachios, chopped

Instructions

  1. Put the flour with the baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add salt, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, almonds and milk. Cut the cold butter into pieces and add. Work everything through well with the dough hook and then work it into a smooth dough by hand. Chill in cling film for an hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll out the dough thinly, cut out stars and then bake them on the middle rack for about 10 minutes.
  3. Knead the marzipan mixture with the sifted powdered sugar, roll out very thinly. Cut out as many stars as cookies. Spread a thin layer of cherry jelly on the cooled biscuits and place the marzipan stars on top.
  4. For the icing, mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice and brush the biscuits with it. Decorate with the chopped pistachios.
