Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 200 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder

For covering:

  • 1 kg apples, small
  • 1 lemon (s), add the juice from it

For the sprinkles:

  • 175 g flour
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g apricot jam
  • 2 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Beat butter with sugar until frothy. Add the marzipan mixture in pieces and stir until smooth. One after the other, carefully beat the eggs under.
  2. Mix flour with baking powder, sieve in portions and stir in. Pour into a greased springform pan and smooth out.
  3. Peel, quarter and core the apples, score several times lengthways and drizzle with the lemon juice. Place the round, incised side on top of the dough in a wreath shape.
  4. For the crumble mix the flour and sugar in a bowl. Melt the butter and add it; Work slowly with the dough hook into crumbles. Sprinkle over the apples.
  5. Bake at 180 ° C for about 1 hour.
