Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 400 g marzipan
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 0.5 ½ vanilla pod (s), including the pulp
  • 200 g flour (or 150 and 50 whole wheat flour)
  • 1 baking powder
  • 200 g chocolate drops

Instructions

  1. First mix the butter and marzipan together. Then gradually stir in the eggs. Add sugar and vanilla pulp and the flour mixed with baking powder. Finally, mix in the chocolate droplets.
  2. Put the batter in a pan cake tin. Bake at 175 - 200 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 45 - 50 minutes.
  3. TIP: do a chopstick test! Do not bake too long or the cake will dry out.
