Instructions

  1. ATTENTION: The alcohol should be chosen according to the type of fruit! The amaretto gives the dessert, for example, a light marzipan taste. The fruits can be fresh or preserved, it doesn`t matter.
  2. Mix the mascarpone, sugar & vanilla sugar to a creamy mixture and cover and chill for 15 minutes.
  3. For fresh cherries, wash and stone the cherries, for canned cherries pour off the juice and drain well.
  4. Put the amarettini in a bowl and drizzle with amaretto (or other alcohol).
  5. Layer the cherries on top of the amarettini and the mascarpone cream on top of the cherries.
  6. Garnish with chocolate shavings, cocoa or whatever your imagination has to offer, but perhaps the garnish shouldn`t be too sweet.
