  • 1 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoon cheese, grated (Gouda, Emmentaler 820;)
  • 1 tablespoon chives, cut into small rolls
  • Clarified butter, for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the cold mashed potatoes with the specified ingredients and leave to stand for half an hour.
  2. Heat the clarified butter in the pan.
  3. Moisten your hands and cut off pieces the size of clementine with a tablespoon and shape into a cookie. Put in the hot fat.
  4. Fry each side for about 10 minutes until they have turned a nice color.
  5. These cookies can be used like hash browns.
  6. The dough makes about 10 pieces.
  7. They also taste cold.
