  • Flour as needed

Instructions

  1. Often there is still a leftover mashed potato in the pot. Add 1 egg and a dash of milk as well as 3 pinches of salt to this rest and knead everything with a hand mixer. Stir in the spices to taste. Then add the flour tablespoon by tablespoon and knead again and again with the hand mixer until the mass no longer sticks and can be easily removed from the bottom.
  2. Put a large saucepan of salted water on the stove. Use a teaspoon to cut off small dumplings from the mashed potatoes and flour, turn them into flour and add them to the boiling water. The dumplings are done when they swim upstairs.
  3. The water with the dumplings can also be used as a base for a dumpling soup.
