Ingredients

  • 12 dumplings
  • 2 leeks
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 0.5 ½ cup cream
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 50 g cheese, rated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the leek and cut into thin rings and sauté in a little butter. Cut the ham into strips and add them, with steaming. Dust the flour over it and mix with the crème fraiche and cream. Continue to steam until the leek is soft. Salt and pepper well.
  2. In a separate pan, fry the dumplings cut into strips in a little butter until crispy and golden.
  3. Layer alternately dumplings and leek mass in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 - 30 minutes. Duration depending on how the cheese crust is preferred. I prefer the cheese to melt and only lightly baked, not crispy.
  4. The amount of ingredients is enough for a small baking dish. For a big one, you can double the ingredients.
  5. A refreshing green salad goes well with it.
