Ingredients

  • 4 bread rolls (wheat toasties)
  • 4 medium egg (s)
  • 2 slices cooked ham
  • 4 slices processed cheese
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • Fat for frying and for the molds
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the fat in a coated pan, lightly grease 4 dessert rings (7.5 cm diameter), then carefully place in the pan. Now beat one egg into a ring, making sure that the yolk does not break. Salt and pepper the eggs.
  2. Fry over a medium heat for about 2 minutes until they start to thicken. Now remove the dessert rings and carefully turn the eggs with a spatula. Fry for another 2 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, toast the toasties and first halve the ham, then cut into strips approx. 3 cm wide. Take the eggs out of the pan, possibly keep them warm in the oven and fry the ham in the pan until crispy.
  4. Butter the toasties thinly on the bottom and ketchup on the top. Now put a slice of cheese on the butter side, then an egg and finally the ham. Put the top on.
