Meat Baked with Tomatoes and Cheese

Pork baked in the oven with tomatoes and cheese turns out to be very soft, tender and literally dissolves in your mouth! Very tasty, and it doesn’t take long to cook!

Ingredients

  • Pork (neck) – about 1 kg
  • Tomatoes (large) – 2 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 150-200 g
  • Sour cream or mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves (to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for greasing the baking sheet

Directions

  1. Prepare food for roasting meat in the oven.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
  3. Grate the cheese.
  4. Squeeze a couple of garlic cloves into mayonnaise or sour cream and stir well the resulting sauce.
  5. Cut the pork into pieces about 1.5-2 cm thick. Place the prepared meat on a cutting board, cover with cling film and beat it properly. Beat off the meat on both sides.
  6. Grease a baking sheet or any other heat-resistant form with vegetable oil and lay out the beaten meat with a slightly overlap. Salt and pepper the meat well, brush with cooked garlic sauce.
  7. Place tomato slices on top and sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Roast pork with tomatoes and cheese in the oven at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
  8. The meat baked with tomatoes and cheese is ready! It turns out to be very juicy and so tender that it literally melts in your mouth. I advise you to be sure to cook meat according to this recipe!
