I bring to your attention a recipe for casseroles of bread, meat, and cabbage with carrots. A very simple and delicious meat dish that any housewife, even a beginner, can cook.
Ingredients
Black bread, stale – 0.5 loaves
Pork (shoulder) – 500 g
White cabbage – 0.25 head of cabbage
Carrots – 1 pc.
Hard cheese – 70 g
Eggs – 4 pcs.
Milk – 50 ml
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Water – 200 ml
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Directions
Shred cabbage with medium strips. Peel and rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
Put carrots and cabbage in a dry frying pan and add water. Simmer vegetables over medium heat for 15 minutes, until tender. Finished vegetables should be almost soft. Salt and pepper to taste.
Cut off the crusts from the bread from all sides, trying to make them thin. Cut the bread into cubes.
Grease the heat-resistant form with vegetable oil. From the crusts of bread, we make sides inside the form and put the cubes of bread on the bottom of the form so that it is completely closed.
Wash the meat, clean it from veins and films, dry it. Cut the meat into small cubes. Salt and pepper to taste. Put the sliced meat on bread cubes.
Put the fried vegetables (carrots and cabbage) on the meat and gently level.
Rub hard cheese on a coarse grater. Preparing the fill. In a separate container, mix grated cheese, eggs, and milk. Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the filling evenly onto the casserole. We cover the form with a lid.
We place a casserole of bread, meat, and vegetables in a preheated oven and cook for 50 minutes at 180 degrees. The meat casserole with bread is ready.
