Ingredients

  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 500 g carrot (s)
  • 500 g meat sausae
  • 3 medium onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste or 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 liter vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots. Cook in salted water for about 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, cut the sausage into small pieces and dice the onions. Fry both in oil.
  3. If fresh tomatoes are used, cut an X into the bottom, dip the tomatoes briefly in boiling water and then peel and chop them. Add tomatoes or tomato paste to the sausage and stir.
  4. Deglaze with cream and stock. Add potatoes and carrots and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Put the flour in a cup, add a little cold water and stir the mixture until smooth. Thicken the goulash while stirring and simmer for a few more minutes so that the flour taste disappears.
