Meatball Soup

Beloved by many, meatball soup is prepared very quickly and easily. You only need half an hour to prepare it, and a fragrant, delicious soup with meatballs will be on your table.

Ingredients

  • Minced meat – 400 g
  • Carrots – 140 g
  • Onions – 250 g
  • Potatoes – 300 g
  • Rice – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh parsley – 5 g
  • Fresh dill – 10 g
  • Bay leaf – 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Water – 2 l

Directions

  1. Add half of finely chopped onion, salt, pepper to the minced meat and mix well.
  2. Fry the other half of the chopped onion in a saucepan in vegetable oil for 2 minutes.
  3. Add grated carrots to a saucepan and fry for another 3 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Add washed rice and diced potatoes to the boiling soup. Simmer on low heat with the lid closed for 10 minutes.
  5. Form small minced meatballs.
  6. Add meatballs, salt, pepper, bay leaf to the soup with rice and cook the soup with meatballs over low heat for 15 minutes. Add finely chopped dill and parsley.
  7. The meatball soup is ready.
