Tender meatballs in thick tomato sauce are a very tasty dish for your everyday menu.

Ingredients
Minced pork and beef – 350 g
Canned tomatoes in their own
Juice (cut) – 400 g
Whitebread – 100 g or bread crumbs – 3 tbsp
Egg- 1 pc.
Garlic- 2 cloves
Dried oregano – 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste Vegetable oil – for frying Green onions (for serving) – to taste
Directions
Prepare all required ingredients. Grind the bread into crumbs using a blender or meat grinder. For meatballs, you need 3 tbsp of bread crumbs.
Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Add the egg, bread crumbs, half of the garlic passed through a press, salt, black pepper to taste, and 0.5 teaspoons of dried oregano to the minced meat. Mix the minced meat well so that it becomes completely homogeneous.
Form small meatballs from minced meat. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs over high heat on all sides until golden brown.
If there is excess fat in the pan, drain it. Put chopped tomatoes in their own juice in a pan, add the remaining oregano and garlic. Season with salt and pepper if necessary. While stirring, bring the sauce to a boil over high heat.
Put meatballs in hot tomato sauce. Reduce heat, cover skillet with lid and cook meatballs in tomato sauce for 20-30 minutes.
Delicious meatballs in tomato sauce are ready. When serving, you can sprinkle meatballs with fresh herbs. You can serve mashed potatoes, pasta, or any kind of porridge as a side dish for meatballs.
