Meatballs in Tomato-Sour Cream Sauce

Delicious and tender veal meatballs in tomato-sour cream sauce

Ingredients

  • Beef (veal) – 1 kg
  • Onions- 4 pcs.
  • Greenonions – 100 g
  • Bread- 100 g
  • Milk- 200 ml
  • Salt
  • Paprika Sunflower oil – for frying + 30 g
  • Tomatoes- 3-4 pcs.
  • Sourcream 20% – 370 g Parsley

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into medium pieces and grind in a blender or through a meat grinder. (You can buy ready-made minced meat immediately.) We send the minced meat to a bowl, in which we will mix it with other products. Cut the onion into 4-6 pieces and chop. Add green onions and continue chopping.
  2. We send the onion to the minced meat. (If you like garlic, you can add it if you wish.) Fill the bread with milk. Make a cruciform incision in the top of the tomatoes. Fill them with boiling water and leave for 5-10 seconds. Drain and peel the tomatoes.
  3. When the bread has absorbed all the milk, grind it in a blender or pass it through a meat grinder. We send bread to the total mass. Stir, salt, pepper if desired and beat the minced meat well.
  4. Grind the tomatoes in puree. Add salt, paprika and 30 ml of vegetable oil. Mix. Form meatballs from minced meat and roll in flour.
  5. Fry in hot vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
  6. Pour the tomato puree into a preheated pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes. We send sour cream to the pan. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. We send a leaf of parsley there.
  7. Put the fried meatballs in the sauce. Cover and simmer meatballs in tomato-sour cream sauce for 15 minutes (heat is less than medium). Pour in a little boiling water and cook for another 15 minutes.
  8. Pour in a little boiling water and cook for another 15 minutes. Meatballs in tomato-sour cream sauce are ready. We crush with chopped herbs. Serve veal meatballs with rice or potatoes.
