Meatballs with Rice “Hedgehogs”

These are my meatballs today. Juicy aromatic, covered with a golden-brown crust. The meatballs just ask to be eaten.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Minced pork – 500 g
  • Rice – 0.5 cups
  • Bonions – 1 pc.
  • Topaste – 2-2.5 tbsp
  • Sourcream – 150 g
  • Saltto taste Ground pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare food.
  2. Rinse the rice well, pour over the rice with cold water, and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Put the rice on a sieve, but do not rinse! Cool down.
  3. Peel the onion, wash and chop finely.
  4. Put the minced meat and onion in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Add rice and 1 tablespoon to the minced meat. a spoonful of tomato paste. Mix well with wet hands, you can beat it off by throwing the minced meat into a bowl a couple of times.
  5. Grease a baking dish or frying pan without a handle with sour cream. Roll the minced meat with rice into balls about 5 cm in diameter. Put the meatballs into the mold.
  6. To make a sauce, this mix sour cream, tomato paste (1-1.5 tablespoons), salt, pepper, and a little water (0.5 cups). Pour the meatballs well with the sauce.
  7. Put the dish with meatballs in the oven. Bake meatballs at 180-200 ° C until lightly golden brown, about 30-40 minutes.
