Ingredients

  • 4 onion (s)
  • 5 tomato (s)
  • 100 g pickled cucumber (s)
  • 350 g minced beef
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 roll
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 4 egg (s), (for filling)
  • 1 packet puff pastry, (frozen)
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut into cubes. Scald tomatoes in boiling water, peel and core them and cut into cubes. Peel the cucumber and also dice it. Hard boil eggs for filling.
  2. Knead the minced meat with the egg and egg white, onions, tomatoes, cucumber and soaked bread roll as well as the spices. Shape the meat into an oval loaf.
  3. Spread apart a little, lay the peeled, hard-boiled eggs side by side on top. Wet your hands with cold water and beat the batter over the eggs.
  4. Roll out the defrosted puff pastry about 3mm thick and wrap the meat loaf in it. Decorate with a little cut out puff pastry. Brush the surface with egg yolk.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 60-80 minutes.
