Mexican Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • Beef – 1 Kilogram
  • Bulgarian pepper – 2 pieces
  • Red onion – 1 Piece
  • Corn – 300 grams (frozen or canned)
  • Beans – 300 Grams (canned red)
  • Red wine – 100 Milliliters (dry)
  • Chili pepper – 1 Piece
  • Garlic – 4 Cloves
  • Black peppercorns – 5 Pieces
  • Allspice – 5 Pieces
  • Pink pepper – 5 pieces
  • Coriander seeds – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Marjoram – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oregano – 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. Wash the meat and cut into small pieces.
  2.  Fry the onion, chopped with feathers, add the meat and sauté everything together.
  3.  Add wine, 150 ml. water, simmer for 1 hour over low heat.
  4. Peel and cut the pepper into strips.
  5. Add pepper and corn to the meat. Simmer for another 15 minutes. Add water if necessary.
  6. Add beans, all seasonings. Stir and simmer for another 15 minutes. Don’t forget to add salt.
  7. Serve with chopped garlic and chili.
