Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt well in a normal cereal bowl or drinking cup. Then add the milk, the fat and the jam and stir everything well to a pulp. The consistency should be nice and creamy. Now put the whole thing in the microwave and heat for 2 minutes at 600-700 watts
  2. (The consistency is now quite sticky and resembles that of brownies, but the cake is actually baked through and this consistency is desired).
  3. Garnish with one or two scoops of vanilla ice cream (can of course also be left out) and eat it warm with the melting ice cream.
  4. Tip:
  5. If you want to topple this small cake before eating, it is best to use baking paper, because at least for me, just greasing the bowl doesn`t help and the dough sticks and tears. But you can also eat it right out of the bowl as a dessert with the ice cream on top.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
