Instructions

  1. Halve a spaghetti squash and remove the seeds. Place half the spaghetti squash, cut side down, on a microwaveable plate. Also put a few drops of water on the plate. Heat in the microwave for about 5 minutes at about 800 watts per pound of pumpkin weight. Then let it cool down for about 5 minutes.
  2. Scrape out the pumpkin flesh with a fork (the pumpkin is done if this is very easy - if the meat is still too firm, put it in the microwave again and cook). The spaghetti threads are created by themselves. Season the pumpkin spaghetti with a few flakes of butter, salt and pepper and serve.
  3. We like spaghetti pumpkin best as an accompaniment to grilled meat. But there are no limits to your imagination. You can also enjoy the pumpkin spaghetti like pasta with different sauces.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
