  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Yolk (optional) – 1 pc.

Milk rice porridge is very tasty and healthy. And the porridge will be even more delicious if you add vanilla sugar, grated apples, or carefully mashed bananas to it.

  1. Rinse rice with warm water once or several times.

  2. Boil water in a 2-liter saucepan. Pour rice into boiling water (for 1 glass of rice – 2 glasses of water) and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. You need to cook over low heat – the rice should boil a little.
  3. Place the rice on a sieve and let the water drain. You can rinse the rice with warm boiled water so that there are no lumps sticking together.
  4. Heat the milk in a 2-liter saucepan. Pour rice into milk, stir and cook, stirring frequently, over low heat (porridge should boil slightly) for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Before turning off, add sugar, salt, stir, close the dishes with a lid.

  6. Wrap the porridge with a towel for 5-10 minutes. You can also “simmer” rice milk porridge in the oven. To do this, preheat the oven to 150-180 degrees, set the baking sheet to a medium level, and put a pot of porridge with a lid closed in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  7. Before serving, milk rice porridge is seasoned with butter. You can season the porridge with whipped yolk (optional).
