Millet Croquettes with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Millet – 2 cups
  • Vegetable broth – 0.5 l
  • or water – 0.5 l
  • Champignons – 400 g
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – how much will it take
  • Salt to taste
  • Crackers – how much will it take

Directions

  1. The ingredients for mushroom croquettes are in front of you!
  2. Rinse millet several times with cold water, add cold water and bring to a boil. Then strain the porridge through a sieve. Wash.
  3. Pour 0.5 liters of vegetable broth (water), cook over low heat without a lid until the broth is completely evaporated. Cool down. Season the millet porridge with salt, pepper and mix well.
  4. Peel the onions. Wash the mushrooms and onions, chop as desired, not coarsely. Preheat a frying pan. Fry chopped onion in vegetable oil until golden brown. And then put the mushrooms, salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Cool down
  5. Make a flat cake from millet porridge, put 1 teaspoon of fried mushrooms in the center.
  6. Form a ball, roll in breadcrumbs. So make all the croquettes.
  7. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Deep-fry croquettes with mushrooms until golden brown.
  8. Millet croquettes with mushrooms are ready.
