Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 vegetable onions, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper (s), red or yellow, finely chopped
  • 4 kohlrabi
  • Salt water
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 350 g double cream cheese
  • 250 g mozzarella, rated or ratin cheese
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Fry the minced meat well. Add the chopped onions and peppers. Season with salt, pepper and chilli.
  2. Peel the kohlrabi, cut into thin slices and blanch in boiling, lightly salted water for about 7 minutes. Mix the cream cheese and creme fraîche and heat them up briefly (in a pot or microwave) so that it becomes nice and liquid. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Now layer the minced meat and kohlrabi alternately in a baking dish and cover with the cheese cream. Finally sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until the mozzarella has melted and is lightly browned if desired.
