Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 500 g sauerkraut, seasoned and drained
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion (s), chopped
  • 3 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 200 ml beef broth
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • 1 pinch (s) marjoram
  • sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and marjoram.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the onions and garlic for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the minced meat and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste and sauerkraut, and fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and stir well to combine.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and stir in the crème fraîche.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, and sugar as needed.
