Ingredients

  • 5 onion (s)
  • 750 g minced beef
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon curry powder, hot
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon jam (peach jam)
  • 5 tablespoon almond (s), sliced
  • 5 tablespoon raisins
  • salt
  • Pepper, black, freshly ground
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 lime (s)

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely chop the onions. Heat the oil and butter in a pan. Steam the onions in it until translucent for 5 minutes. Add the minced meat, chop it up and sear it. Add the curry, jam, vinegar, almonds and raisins and stir well. Add the cream and simmer covered for 60 minutes.
  2. Season well with salt and pepper. Add creme fraiche and the juice of the lime, stir and let steep for another 10 minutes.
  3. Serve with rice and salad.
