Minced Spaghetti Sauce

Traditionally, spaghetti is usually served with some sort of sauce. Today I will tell you how to make minced spaghetti sauce – one of the most popular in Italy and abroad.

Ingredients

  • Minced beef – 350 Grams
  • Tomato Paste – 200 Grams
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Fresh basil – To taste (optional)
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon the spoon
  • Spices – To taste
  • Lemon Juice – To taste
  • Tomatoes – 2 Pieces

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Fry finely chopped onions and diced tomatoes for 2-3 minutes, then add the minced meat to the pan (the minced meat must first be salted and pepper to taste). Stir and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomato paste.
  4. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer for about 10-15 minutes over low heat until the sauce thickens.
  5. A couple of minutes before readiness, adjust the sauce to taste – add spices, fresh herbs (basil is best, but another is possible), lemon juice.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with spaghetti boiled until tender.
