Ingredients

  • 1 bottle vodka
  • 250 g mirabelle plums
  • 150 g suar, white
  • 10 g citric acid
  • a little vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the mirabelle plums. Put the mirabelle plums in a suitable container. 3-5 cores are added to the container. Then add the schnapps, sugar and citric acid. If you want, you can add vanilla sugar, but you don`t have to.
  2. Vodka is best suited as a starting schnapps because it is tasteless. But a plum spirit can also be used. It should always be around 38-40% so that the fruit does not rot. Let it steep for about 6 weeks in a cool and dark place, shaking occasionally. Then strain, then filter and fill the liqueur into bottles. Let ripen for another 4 weeks before enjoying.
