Ingredients

  • 300 g wheat flour
  • 700 g rye flour
  • 60 g yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoon milk, lukewarm
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 500 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

  1. Mix the wheat and rye flour in a bowl. Press a recess into it. Mix the yeast with the sugar, the lukewarm milk and approx. 1 tablespoon flour to make a pre-dough. Pour this into the hollow and keep the covered bowl warm for 20 minutes.
  2. Add salt, oil and lukewarm water to the pre-dough. Work through all the ingredients to a smooth dough for approx. 10 minutes. Shape the dough into a long bread, place on a baking sheet with baking paper and cover with a cloth, leave to rise for about 40 minutes in a warm place.
  3. Bake the mixed bread at 180 ° C for about 60 minutes.!
