Ingredients

  • 175 g butter or mararine
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 5 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 330 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 12 piece (s) confectionery (Mon Cheri)
  • 250 g powdered suar
  • Food coloring and sugar script, red
  • Cherry (s) (cocktail cherries)

Instructions

  1. Put the fat, salt, vanilla sugar, sugar and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a mixing bowl, stir with the whisk of the hand mixer until frothy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the sour cream. Place 2 paper cases in each of the hollows of a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Fill the molds evenly halfway with batter. Put a Mon-Chéri in each and cover with the rest of the batter. Bake in the preheated oven (top / bottom heat: 200 ° C, fan oven: 175 ° C, gas: level 3) for about 25 minutes. Remove and let cool on a wire rack.
  3. Mix the powdered sugar and the rest of the lemon juice to a smooth glaze and color it light pink with a few drops of food coloring. Spread it evenly over the muffins. Decorate with red sugar letters, granulated sugar and cocktail cherries.
