Ingredients

  • 1 small can chickpeas
  • 2 small onions
  • 3 handfuls spinach leaves, chopped
  • 1 can tomato (s), chunky
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 slice (s) sheep`s cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 handful olives, black
  • little cinnamon
  • little cardamom
  • little nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice mixture (Köfte spice)

Instructions

  1. Cut the onions and sauté in olive oil. Then add the chickpeas and, after lightly frying, the chunky tomatoes, including the liquid. Then add the chopped spinach and simmer for about a quarter of an hour.
  2. Just before the end of the cooking time, add the olives and garlic and season to taste. Sprinkle with sheep cheese just before serving.
