Ingredients

  • 1 scoop / s mozzarella or packet mini mozzarella
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or chilli oil, if necessary also 2
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), dried or fresh
  • some basil leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt

Instructions

  1. Drain the mozzarella and cut into slices.
  2. Press the clove of garlic, chop the basil leaves and chilli pepper. If you use really hot chili oil, you can do without it. Mix all ingredients to a pulpy consistency. Do not salt and season too sparingly, the paste must have a lot of thump.
  3. Arrange the mozzarella slices and brush with the paste. Garnish with a little basil if necessary.
