Muffins with Chocolate

Chocolate muffins filled with chocolate chunks are served hot to keep the filling running.

Servings: 8
Ingredients
- Butter (softened) – 60 g
- Large egg – 1 pc.
- Sugar – 1/4 cup (50 g)
- Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
- Flour – 2/3 cup (100 g)
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
- Black chocolate – 60 g
- Powdered sugar (for decoration) – to taste
Directions
- Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Place paper sockets in muffin tins.
- Put softened butter in a large bowl, add egg, sugar, cocoa and sift flour with baking powder. Stir the dough with a mixer at low speed.
- Divide half of the prepared dough into the tins.
Break the chocolate into pieces and lightly press a piece of chocolate into the dough. Top with the remaining dough. - Place in a preheated oven and bake the chocolate muffins at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Remove the finished muffins from the molds, cool slightly.
- Serve the chocolate muffins warm to keep the melted chocolate liquid inside. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
