Mushroom Hodgepodge with Cabbage

Ingredients

  • Champignons – 500 g
  • White cabbage – 400 g
  • Pickled cucumbers – 2 pcs.
  • Onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 2-3 pcs.
  • Tomato paste -1-2 tbsp
  • Sugar (optional) – 2 teaspoon
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Butter – 30 g
  • or vegetable oil – 30 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Bay leaf – 1-2 pcs.
  • Water – 2.5 l
  • Olives – 50 g
  • Greens – 0.5 bunch

Directions

  1. Products for mushroom hodgepodge with cabbage in front of you.
  2. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into small cubes.
  3. Boil 2.5 liters of water. Add potatoes, cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Chop the cabbage.
  5. Peel, wash, and cut the onion into cubes.
  6. Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices.
  7. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil (put butter). Put the onion in the heated oil, stew for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Add mushrooms and cabbage. Sprinkle with vinegar and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Add tomato paste. Mix.
  10. Dice the pickles.
  11. Put all the vegetables and bay leaf into the soup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add sugar (optional). Simmer for 10 minutes, covered.
  12. Mushroom solyanka with cabbage is ready. Serve with olives and a slice of lemon
