Mushroom Pan

Instructions

  1. Wash the mushrooms well, clean, cut in half and large quarters. Peel the onion and cut into rings.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the mushrooms with the onion rings. Put the lid on the pot and simmer the mushrooms for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder and stir 1 - 2 tablespoons of cream cheese into the cooking stock (the mushrooms give off their own juice). Cook for 2-3 minutes, then the mushrooms should be ready.
  3. Tzatziki or another garlic sauce can be served with it. The garlic sauce can also be seasoned with a little tomato paste or ketchup.
  4. Of course, this mushroom pan also goes well with many other lunch dishes, e.g., with pasta (absolutely delicious) or rice or potatoes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
