Instructions

  1. For the dough, beat the cream until it is almost stiff. First stir in the eggs, then the sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Pour the dough into a greased, floured 26-inch springform pan. Wash the nectarines, cut into small pieces, mix with the vanilla sugar and spread on the dough. Bake in a preheated oven (top / bottom heat) at 180 ° C for 40 minutes. Separate the egg for the topping. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and sour cream until frothy and then fold in the egg white. After a baking time of 20 minutes, spread the topping over the cake, sprinkle with flaked almonds and finish baking. Possibly Cover with aluminum foil. Loosen the edge of the cake, let it cool down a bit and then loosen the springform pan and let the cake cool down completely. Serve dusted with powdered sugar. It goes well with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Tips: The cake does not get very high, if you want, you can use 1.5 times the ingredients for the dough! Of course, it also tastes good with other fruits, but nectarines are not so common when baking.
