Non-Alcoholic Ginger Ale

by Editorial Staff

Ginger ale invigorates, refreshes, and relaxes at the same time. The mineral water soft drink becomes healthy due to the healing properties of ginger, and lime and fresh mint make ginger ale uniquely aromatic.

Non-Alcoholic Ginger Ale

Non-Alcoholic Ginger Ale Instructions

  1. All ingredients need to be cooled slightly before cooking.
  2. The ginger root must be peeled and cut into thin slices. (If someone is peeling ginger for the first time: peel the ginger root like a potato, cutting off the peel in a thin layer.)
  3. Pour the chopped ginger in a saucepan with a glass of water and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat, cover, and let sit for about 1 hour.
  5. Strain the ginger broth through a sieve (the boiled ginger can be discarded), pour into a saucepan, add sugar, and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  6. Remove the ginger and sugar syrup from heat and cool. Transfer to a jar or bottle with a lid and store in the refrigerator.
  7. To prepare ginger ale, place ice and mint leave in a glass (about 3-4 leaves in each glass).
  8. Squeeze out the juice of half the lime.
  9. Then pour the ginger syrup and soda water into a glass in about the following ratio: 1 part lime juice, 2 parts ginger syrup, and 3 parts soda water. Garnish with the ginger ale with mint leaves and serve. Refreshing non-alcoholic ginger ale with mineral water is ready.
