Norwegian Potato Tortillas Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 500 grams (peeled)
  • Butter – 50 grams
  • Wheat flour – 175 grams (125 grams – in the dough, 50 grams – for sprinkling the table)
  • Salt – 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Ground black pepper – 1 pinch
  • Potato seasoning – 1 teaspoon (paprika, savory, marjoram, thyme, dried onion)
  • Cream cheese curd – 100 Grams
  • Green onions – 50 Grams
  • Dill – 30 Grams
  • Lightly salted salmon – 100-150 grams

  1. Prepare the ingredients, boil the potatoes.

  2. While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the filling with curd cheese, onions and dill. Chop greens, mix with curd cheese. Chop the fish finely.
  3. Drain the water from the potatoes, salt, pepper, add seasonings, mash in mashed potatoes, add half the butter.
  4. Pour flour into mashed potatoes, knead the potato dough.
  5. Divide the potato dough into portions.
  6. Sprinkle flour on the work surface of the table, roll the potato dough into a cake. To get it straight, you can cut to the template. Take a plate as a template.
  7. Fry the potato tortillas for 2-3 minutes on each side in a skillet without adding oil.
  8. Brush the tortillas with softened or melted butter.
  9. Put curd cheese with herbs on the edge of the cake, chopped fish on top, roll into a roll.

  10. Potato tortillas can be served with herbs, with sauces, or cut into small rolls. It turned out very tasty, be sure to try it!
