Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 150 g hazelnuts, round
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 200 g nouat or better still Nutella
  • Couverture, dark or whole milk

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour with the baking powder onto the baking mat and make a well. Place the sugar, vanilla sugar, ground hazelnuts and butter in flakes on the edge. Put the egg in the well, knead everything quickly and then chill. Roll out the dough and cut out thalers. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes at 175 degrees C (top / bottom heat).
  2. Melt the nougat mixture. This is not necessary when using Nutella. Spread half of the cooled thalers on the underside with the nougat mixture or Nutella and place the other underside on top. Dip half into the dissolved couverture.
