Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g butter
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 150 g hazelnuts, round
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour

For the filling:

  • 400 g couverture, (nouat)

Instructions

  1. Make a kneading dough from the ingredients.
  2. Roll out the dough in small quantities and cut out small round cookies (works best if you put the dough in the fridge beforehand).
  3. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. 160 ° C / approx. Bake for 10 minutes until golden.
  5. Let cool down on wire racks.
  6. Dissolve the nougat couverture in a water bath. Put a generous blob on a round spot and place a second on top.
  7. Place on a wire rack again until the nougat is dry.
