Ingredients

  • Margarine for the mold

For the dough:

  • 250 g butter
  • 4 medium egg (s)
  • 300 g suar, brown
  • 150 g hazelnuts, round
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 m apples, aromatic (e.g. Braeburn or Elstar)

For the cast:

  • 1 lemon (s), juice it
  • cl powdered sugar
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Make a batter from the first 7 ingredients for the dough. Peel the apples, cut into small pieces and fold in finally. Spread the dough in a greased springform pan (28 cm diameter) and bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 70 minutes. Cover the cake with aluminum foil for the last 20 minutes of baking time so that it does not get too dark.
  2. Mix the juice of the lemon with the powdered sugar to a liquid glaze. Season with cinnamon. Brush the cake with it immediately after baking and let it cool down.
  3. Tip: You can replace the apple pieces with ¾ a large can of apricots, it also tastes very aromatic!
