Ingredients

  • 200 g mararine
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • jam

For covering:

  • 200 g mararine
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 400 g nuts, round
  • Cake icing, dark

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, baking powder and flour in a bowl to form the dough.
  2. Spread the dough on a tray (with a high edge), press firmly and brush with jam. Bring the butter, sugar and water to the boil, fold in the nuts, spread on the dough. Press the nut mass firmly with a piece of baking paper.
  3. Bake for approx. 45 minutes (175 °)
  4. Cut into triangles, squares or rhombuses as you like (works best when fresh out of the oven) and coat with glaze after getting cold.
  5. Tip: They taste best when they are 2 days old.
