Instructions

  1. Mix the grated hazelnuts, sugar, breadcrumbs, cocoa powder and cinnamon together well. Gradually add the boiling milk until you have a spreadable mixture. The nut mass can be very soft at first, the crumbs soak up a lot of liquid. Let it cool down and refine it with a dash of rum if necessary.
  2. You can mix hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts well. Using walnuts alone is not recommended, it gives a very intense aroma - almonds alone give a very fine body.
  3. This amount of nut filling is enough for a large plait made from 1/2 kg of flour.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
