Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 100 g hazelnuts, round
  • 100 g suar
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • 70 ml Baileys Irish Cream
  • 60 ml milk

For the topping:

  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Baileys Irish Cream
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar on the high speed hand mixer until creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Gradually add the milk and the Bailey`s. Finally stir in the ground hazelnuts. If the dough is too firm, add more milk or Bailey`s if necessary. Distribute the dough evenly in the muffin tins and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 175 degrees - preheat the oven.
  2. For the topping, stir the cream cheese, the cream, the Bailey`s and 2 - 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar - depending on the consistency, so that it does not become too runny - until creamy with a hand mixer.
  3. As soon as you have taken the muffins out of the oven and they have cooled down, use a piping bag to spread the topping over the muffins. Then decorate as you like.
