Ingredients

  • 50 g butter
  • 40 g maple syrup
  • 7 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 4 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 125 g oatmeal
  • 165 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 45 g cane suar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • some nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 120 g raisins

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and whisk with maple syrup, milk, egg and vanilla sugar. Mix the remaining ingredients and stir into the mixture (works best with a spoon or fork, the electric mixer is not necessary.) Do not stir too long, just enough so that the ingredients combine well.
  2. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, cut off small heaps from the dough with a teaspoon and place on the paper.
  3. Bake at 190 ° C for 12-15 minutes until the biscuits are light brown. Let cool on a cake rack.
  4. These pastries taste best fresh, but they can be kept for a few days on a plate covered with cling film.
