Okroshka on Kvass

Ingredients

  • Boiled potatoes in their uniforms – 3 pcs.
  • Boiled egg – 3 pcs.
  • Semi-smoked beef sausage or cervelat – 300 g
  • Radish – 5-6 pcs.
  • Green onion
  • Dill
  • Fresh cucumbers – 4 pcs. (300 g)
  • Sour cream 20%
  • Kvass
  • Grated horseradish
  • Mustard
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Directions

  1. Rinse green onions and dill, cut off white heads from onions, dry and chop finely. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with a teaspoon of salt. Heat slightly and set aside so that the greens give juice.
  2. Boil eggs and potatoes, cool, peel. Chop radishes, cucumbers, sausage.
  3. Chop potatoes and eggs finely.
  4. Add another teaspoon of salt (here – to taste, those who like saltier, you can do more), black pepper, mix.
