Omelet with Bread and Cheese

The omelette prepared according to this recipe resembles an intricate sandwich with a reverse filling. A slice of rye bread with melted cheese, wrapped in a thin omelette pancake, turns into the perfect breakfast dish. You can also take such an omelette sandwich with you for a snack.

Ingredients

  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 1 teaspoon
  • Hard cheese – 40 g (1 slice)
  • Rye bread – 1 slice
  • Fresh dill – 1-2 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 1/2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients needed to make the bread and cheese omelet.
  2. Break the egg into a bowl.
  3. Add sour cream, salt and black pepper.
  4. Shake the egg with sour cream, salt and pepper with a fork until you get a more or less homogeneous omelet mixture.
  5. Preheat the pan well and brush with vegetable oil. Pour the omelet mixture into the skillet and spread evenly into a thin pancake.
    Important: so that you can wrap bread and cheese in an omelet, take a large-dia frying pan.
  6. Reduce heat to low and sprinkle with chopped dill on the omelet.
  7. Immediately place a slice of rye bread in the center of the omelet.
  8. Place a plate of hard cheese on top of the bread.
  9. As soon as the egg pancake has set, cover the cheese and bread with an omelet on four sides with an envelope.
  10. Fry the omelet over low heat for about a minute and turn over to the other side. On the other side, also fry the omelet for about a minute.
  11. Transfer the finished omelet with bread and cheese to a plate.
  12. Serve the cheese-and-bread omelette immediately after cooking. Enjoy your meal!
